Griffith Steiner
grew up in Anchorage and is a fourth generation
Alaskan. He graduated from West High School in
1982. Dr. Steiner
received a B.A. from Stanford University in 1986.
He attended the University of Nevada School of
Medicine. He took his ophthalmology residency at
the University of Louisville and completed
fellowship training in cornea/external disease and
glaucoma at Allegheny General Hospital in
Pittsburgh. Dr. Steiner is Alaska's only private
practice corneal subspecialist. He became certified
by the American Board of Ophthalmology in
1996. Dr. Steiner
specializes in cataract surgery, medical and
surgical treatment of the cornea/ocular surface,
refractive surgery and glaucoma. He is accepting
new patients and consultations for cataracts, and
cornea/external disease. Dr. Steiner is married and
has a daughter. His hobbies are skiing and
golf.
