An Eye Examination consistst of 1) Detailed History including family history, past trauma or surgery, medications, allergies, systemic diseases, 2) Visual Acuity, 3) Pupil Exam, 4) Peripheral Fields, 5) Ocular Motility, 6) External (Eyelids and Orbits), 7) Cornea, Anterior Chamber and Lens, 8) Intraocular Pressure, 9) Retina and Optic Nerve, 10) Refraction.

Please bring Information about your past history including summaries of eye surgery, neuroimaging studies of head and eyes (CT and MRI scans), Prior eye pressures and visual field tests, Lists of medications, List of allergies, Referring and Caring Doctors (Name, address, phone and fax), Spectacles and Contact Lens Specifications, Recent Hospital Discharge Summaries, Addresses for possible Reports to be sent.
